Birth Doula

What is a birth doula?

A doula is a professionally trained individual who provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support to a mother throughout her pregnancy, during labor, and in the postpartum period. Unlike medical professionals who focus on the clinical aspects of birth, a doula’s role is to support the mother’s emotional and physical well-being, helping her feel informed, confident, and empowered. Doulas assist with pain management techniques, comfort measures, and guidance through the various stages of labor, ensuring the mother feels supported and respected in her birth choices.

My goal as your doula is to guide and support you through this deeply personal and transformative time. Whether you’re preparing for birth, navigating the labor experience, or adjusting to life with your newborn, I am here to offer the care, encouragement, and resources you need to feel empowered and at ease every step of the way.
